SUGGESTIONS FOR A CORRECT USE
1) In particular situations, in order to obtain the best performance it may be necessary to use cutting speeds different from those previously recommended. You will find further information below.
2) Cutting speed should be reduced as the hardness of the worked material increases.
3)
Cutting speed should also be reduced when working
low thermal conductivity materials, such as stainless
steel.
4)
Cutting speed should be increased as the burr
diameter decreases.
5)
Cutting speed should also be reduced when working
low thermal conductivity materials, such as stainless
steel.
6)
Working at a speed inferior to the optimal one
involves the risk of splintering the workpiece.
7)
Using weared burrs or mandrels involves the risk
of splintering the workpiece. It is recommendable
to check that the mandrels do not have concentricity
faults.
8)
Do not use burrs at depths superior to 1/3 of
their length.
9)
Working at too high speed involves faster wear
of the tools.
10)
Having to work very glazing materials, it is necessary
to use lubricants such as grease, petroleum or
plaster in order to avoid clogging of the teeth.
| 11)
Working with long shank burrs, it is recommendable
to put the tool in contact with the worpiece before
starting the machine. |
| |
